FCRAR – Florida Conference for Recent Advances in Robotics – is an academic conference in the field of robotics that is held every year since 1988 at a different university in Florida. In 2023, FCRAR will be held at USF – University of South Florida, Tampa. After 3 years of being online due to Covid, the event will be again in person.

FCRAR is intended to bring together students and faculty doing research in related areas of robotics. The conference offers both graduate and undergraduate students the opportunity to present their latest work and provide a forum for discussion for both students and faculty. In 2023, the event will also include robotic competitions, demos, and a discussion panel, in addition to the main research conference.

Author and participant registration is free of charge and conference proceedings will be published by Digital Commons at the University of South Florida under an open access agreement.
